Please tell us about yourself.

I love spending time outdoors and enjoying God’s creation—whether I’m running, hiking, snowboarding, or relaxing with a good book at the beach. My husband and I are big soccer fans, so there’s usually a game on TV at our house! We attend Emergence Church in Totowa, and we enjoy spending time with our family and friends whenever we can.

Tell the story of how you got to EC.

I had the privilege of attending Eastern Christian School from preschool through 12th grade, where my faith was nurtured and my love for learning began. After graduating from EC, I attended The College of New Jersey and earned my Master of Arts in Teaching.

Following graduation, I began my teaching career in New Jersey public schools, where I spent five years growing both personally and professionally. During that time, God taught me so much about serving students, collaborating with colleagues, and continually developing as an educator.

As I reflected on the next chapter of my career, I felt God leading me back to Christian education. I am grateful for the opportunity to combine my passion for teaching with my love for Jesus, helping students grow academically while pointing them to Christ in all that we do. It is a blessing to return to the community that played such a significant role in shaping my own faith and education.

What sets EC apart?

As an alumna of Eastern Christian, I have experienced firsthand the lasting impact that Christ-centered education can have on a student’s life. Looking back, I am incredibly grateful for the teachers who faithfully invested in me—not only academically but also spiritually. They modeled what it means to follow Christ, encouraged me in my faith, and pointed me to God’s truth in both the big and small moments of everyday life.

I believe what sets Eastern Christian apart is its commitment to developing the whole child. Students are challenged to pursue excellence in their academics while growing in their relationship with Christ and learning how to serve others with humility and compassion. It is evident that God is at work in the lives of EC students as they develop servant hearts, build meaningful relationships, and learn to use their unique gifts to glorify Him. It is a privilege to now be part of that same mission and invest in the next generation of EC students.
