After School Club & Care Options

Preschool – Grade 2

At the Midland Park campus, after school care and clubs are available in two ways. 

  1. Clubs and after care: Our clubs feature rotating options of enrichment activities to engage students until 4:15 p.m. Beyond the clubs, after care can be added to extend student care until 6 p.m. Advanced registration is required and parents may select the days of the week they wish to register. (For example, parents may register for 5 days a week, only on Mondays and Wednesdays, or the combination of weekdays that works best for their family.) Fees will be billed with tuition payments as a line item labeled extended day.

    Preschool – Grade 2 club schedule 

  2. Drop-in after care: For parents that unexpectedly find themselves in need of child care after school, we offer a drop-in care option from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Drop-in care will be strictly supervisory and will not offer enrichment activities like our clubs offer. Parents must contact the main office to confirm care on a daily basis. eces@easternchristian.org 201-445-6150.
 

Grades 3-8

At the Wyckoff campus, after school care is a study hall model. Students will work on homework or other activities until 4:30 p.m. Beyond study hall, after care can be added to extend student care until 6 p.m. Advanced registration is required and parents may select the days of the week they wish to register. (For example, parents may register for 5 days a week, only on Mondays and Wednesdays, or the combination of weekdays that works best for their family.) Fees will be billed with tuition payments as a line item labeled extended day.

Upper Elementary & Middle School Study Hall Rate (2025-2026)

1 Day (per week for a quarter) – $225

5 Days (per week for a quarter) – $525
 

After Care Rate (2025-2026)

1 Day (per week for a quarter) – $225

$30 per hour (billed on a monthly basis)

Additional Information: 

  • A 25% sibling incentive is NOT available for CLUBS, but it is available for the other programs. 
  • Club based model; must enroll in Clubs/Study Hall to attend After Care. 
  • One club offered per day. Clubs cover a broad range of topics (science, art, music, cooking, sports, etc.) 
  • Clubs/Study Hall programs are NOT offered on a drop in basis. 
  • *Midland Park Campus Clubs end at 4:15pm. Wyckoff Campus Study Hall ends at 4:30pm.

Bio:

Morgan was born and raised in central Illinois before moving to New Jersey in March of 2021. She spent her undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in the St. Louis metro area, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Educational Data Analysis. She currently resides in New Milford. In Morgan’s free time, she finds herself baking, coaching soccer, going on runs, and spending a large amount of time working in the garden at Cornerstone Christian Church in Wyckoff. Morgan is excited to be a part of the Eastern Christian community!

Bio:

Having attended EC from preschool to high school graduation, Karyn is grateful to be back in Northern New Jersey and back in the EC community. Karyn’s four children (Josiah, Levi, Grace, and Caleb) are the fifth generation in their family who have been blessed by EC’s education and community. Karyn is passionate about serving and helping the youngest children grow in their knowledge of skills but more importantly that Jesus loves them. Karyn and her family attend Emergence Church (Ringwood Campus) where she serves in the children’s ministry.

Jackie Ingis is an artist & educator based in the Metro NY area. Her work consists primarily of oil paintings and painted installations. She has taught various art mediums over the years including: drawing, sculpture, printmaking & even Cosplay. She graduated from Eastern Christian in 2010 and is excited to return to a Christ-centered educational community in a new role. She loves creating an environment where each student grows and is challenged as a creative while having a good time with friends.
