Second, pray!

Did you know that chapels are open to alumni, parents and relatives?

Did you know that prayer teams meet regularly at all three campuses?

Prayer has been a major part of our heritage from the start. We value all prayer on behalf of this community, both corporately and individually. If you’d like to plug into a prayer team or learn more about chapel schedules, contact your preferred campus!

Third, volunteer!

Since its inception, donations from ditto have reached $2 million! The upscale resale store in North Haledon exists primarily on community donations and a team of volunteers. Volunteers are needed to run the cash registers, sort stock and handle other retail-specific tasks. Stop by the store for an application or apply online

Volunteers are also needed in a host of other places. For example, the elementary school and upper elementary/middle school PTOs are looking for lunch servers for pizza and Chick-fil-A days. Host families are needed to host international students. Volunteers are welcome for annual fundraising events. And the athletic department utilizes volunteers during events. Contact these groups directly, or reach out to the campus front office administrators for other opportunities.

Fourth, give!

We value every donation that comes in to support the school. Donations have provided for students who could not otherwise afford Eastern Christian School, financed enhancements to our award-winning education, and been a vital part of the school’s continued success.

Fifth, work here!

We currently have several part-time and full-time positions available, including a need for more coaches and bus drivers.

Sixth, become a fan!

Follow us on social media or subscribe to our weekly newsletter for the most up-to-date information. And while you are out and about, walk around in style with EC swag, which benefits teacher appreciation and athletic initiatives.

We look forward in faith to another year of God’s faithfulness to Eastern Christian School, and gratefully recognize the village behind it. If you have any other ideas on how you might like to plug in, or how we can love our community well, please share your ideas here. Happy New Year!
