EC Community Beefsteak 2020 Recap

On Wednesday, January 29, 2020 the EC community gathered at The Brownstone in Paterson for our 11th annual beefsteak dinner.  What has historically been an athletic booster event has, over the past few years, morphed into a simple community gathering. No special guests, no speeches or presentations, just dinner and fellowship with friends and the EC family.

This year, 230 guests gathered to enjoyed The Brownstone/s famous beefsteak dinner.  Antipasto, pasta, onion rings and fries, and beefsteak; lots and lots of beefsteak. Then, just when we knew we had eaten too much out came the warm cider donuts and icecream.  

EC board member Jeremy Mulder once again delighted us with his MC skills providing information, humor, and, maybe most importantly, a one night pass on gluttony.  Together we raised some funds to replace wireless microphones in the elementary school, competed for a number of great electronics and women’s accessories, and best of all enjoyed a great meal with friends.

Thanks to all who came out to support this event.  Thanks to the National Honor Society who this year provided childcare for a number of our guests.  Thanks to our silent sponsor who year after year underwrites the cost of our electronic prizes helping to make the night a financial success.
