Eastern Christian School Welcomes Sandy Koh

Eastern Christian School welcomes Sandy Koh as a paraprofessional. Sandy has a background in occupational therapy and working with children with special needs. 

Please tell us about yourself.

Hi, my name is Sandy. I’m excited to join the EC community this fall. I grew up in Queens and moved to New Jersey in the fifth grade, and I have not left since. I am a licensed occupational therapy assistant and have worked with children with special needs. I love what I do and am excited to be at EC.

Tell the story of how you got to EC.

God has truly opened this chapter at EC for me and my family in a fast and sure way. I knew I wanted my family to have a learning community that I could be a part of and when I found out about the opportunities EC had to offer, I took a leap. God answered, and now I’m excited to join a new community with my children.

What sets EC apart?

I think from the moment I took a tour of EC’s preschool and what they had to offer, it set EC apart from other schools. The children and staff were excited to learn, and to me, that showed that everyone at EC enjoys growing together. I saw confidence in these little minds when they were learning and introducing themselves to me at the door. But I also saw the pure joy of all the children attending EC.
