A Sizzling Day of Golf and Generosity!

Temperatures reached over 95 degrees on the course on Monday, May 18 for the annual EC Golf Outing at Wild Turkey Golf Club in Hamburg. It was the first feeling of summer in NJ this year, but it didn’t keep our sold-out crowd of 128 golfers from enjoying a beautiful day on the golf course and setting a fundraising record for the event of $93,000!

The golfers all enjoyed lunch with some competing in the putting contest before heading out to the course for the scramble-style tournament. Current EC golf team members, Billy Cook and Jack Magee, welcomed the golfers at the “Beat the EC Golfer Challenge” on Hole #14. Billy and Jack left multiple drives throughout the day within 3-5ft of the hole making the competition fierce and impressing many of the golfers.

At the end of the long, hot day, participants gathered in the tent for buffet dinner, prizes, and fellowship.
