Volleyball 10/13/14

Girls Varsity Volleyball had a tough week that included two important games.  They came from behind to win spectacularly against Mary Help on Tuesday.  Senior setter Jayna Van Buiten helped lead the team with several crucial assists and serving aces.  Junior Nicole Aoki led the defensive line in the third game to help lead the Lady Eagles to victory.  Volleyball’s week ended with a tough loss to the highly ranked Garfield team.  The ladies, led by senior and offside hitter Taylor Faber, almost came back to win the second game.  Although the week ended in a tough loss, Varsity Volleyball showed signs of improvement and look to next week Wednesday’s county game against top-seeded Clifton.
