ECMS Soccer Double Header

Boys and girls middle school soccer played a double header against Hawthorne Christian on Monday, October 6. The girls team found themselves down 2-0 early in the first game relied on the leadership and scoring touch of Madison Wynbeek to regain momentum. Amanda Faber put in the late game winner to claim victory.

In the second game of the double header, the boys game out firing as Jared Post scored in the opening minutes to put EC up 1-0. HCA pushed back quickly, netting 3 goals. The EC boys worked hard to come back with another goal by Sean Lee but could not find the equalizer. Both teams were spurred on by cheering from nearly 50 ECMS students who stayed after school to cheer on their Eagles. The middle school soccer teams are back in action on Thursday against Secaucus.
