How would you describe your overall experience at Eastern Christian?
My experience at Eastern Christian was one to never forget. I am thankful that I met friends for a lifetime and kept the aspect of Christianity in my life.
How did the EC community impact your life?
When I felt that all was lost, EC stepped in and made me feel like I had a place to belong. The students and teachers here have made an incredible impact on my life and who I am as a person.
In what ways have you grown in your faith as a result of your experience at Eastern Christian School?
My faith has grown abundantly as I focused more on how I can grow and spread His word. I was able to spread His love to those in the school who didn’t know Him. And when I was lost, many reminded me of my faith, and that I should strive to be the best version of myself.
What’s an opportunity at EC that fueled a passion to learn about and grow in?
As a member of Project LEAD, I was able to gain a passion for leading Christian events, which I will take with me in the next season of my life.
What are EC’s top strengths as a school?
EC’s top strengths are giving people a community to grow in and giving students an outlet of support.
How do you feel that EC prepared you for graduation, college/career and life?
I feel that EC prepared me well for graduation, college, and my future career. This school helped me to figure out who I am in the present, and the person that I want to be in the future. The community, teachers, and education have brought me where I am today and will continue to have a long-lasting impact on me.
What legacy do you hope you left at EC?
EC made me a better person as it encouraged me to do well educationally and spiritually. I hope to leave a legacy and example of what it means to be the best version of yourself, in all aspects.
What would you say to a prospective student considering joining Eastern Christian School?
If you are thinking of joining Eastern Christian School, I encourage you to follow through with that decision. It is a big change, but it is a good change. Jesus is present here, and it is a safe place for you to grow spiritually, educationally, emotionally, and mentally.
What else would you like to share about your EC experience?
Although I grew up in a Christian household, I came to EC from a public school that didn’t have Christian values. I needed a place like EC in my life, where I was able to relate to people more and understand what it means to walk towards Christ with a community.
