Eastern Christian School welcomes Sergio Martinez as a Accounts Receivable Specialist. He holds a bachelor’s degree in both Music and Business Administration from Kean University.  

Please tell us about yourself.

I was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, but I was raised in Elizabeth, New Jersey. I have enjoyed playing soccer all my life, and I was part of school choirs and bands throughout my childhood.

Tell the story of how you got to EC.

God prepared me for EC by opening doors that seemed questionable at first glance. He developed my patience and dependence on Him through trusting in His plan an watching as he brought things together. Throughout these last couple of years, God has opened doors through prior work experiences, which have prepared me well for the role I’ll be stepping into at EC.

What sets EC apart?

EC students continue to develop and demonstrate that their education has prepared them to be useful and fruitful vessels for the Kingdom of God. He continues to work in the lives of the students at EC because of their devotion and willingness to put God first.
