Eastern Christian School welcomed Morgan Malone as elementary school office manager this fall.

Morgan was born and raised in central Illinois before moving to New Jersey in March of 2021. She spent her undergraduate studies at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, in the St. Louis metro area, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Educational Data Analysis. She currently resides in New Milford.

Tell us about yourself

I grew up in central Illinois in a somewhat small city called Decatur. I love spending time outside gardening, going on runs, and coaching soccer, but I also really enjoy getting creative with baking. I currently volunteer on the tech team over at Cornerstone Christian Church.

Tell us the story of how God brought you to EC

This position sort of fell into my lap at exactly the right time. It really felt God ordained. I found out about the position through high school principal Dan Cirone, who I serve alongside with over at Cornerstone. He knew of the type of work I did in my old position and the ways God has gifted me and thought I would be a great fit over at the elementary school. After praying about it, everything moved right along in such a quick way and just felt right.

What sets EC apart?

Eastern Christian really values including the family in the child’s education. There is such a great system of communication between the office, teachers, and parents. God is really working in the building and in the lives of the students here at EC. There is prayer taking place in the school and biblical lessons being passed down to students.

See what a Christ-centered education looks like for your child.
