Thank You, Columbia Bank Foundation!

Columbia Bank Foundation recently stopped by our elementary school campus to donate a check for more than $48,000. The funds were awarded to Eastern Christian School as part of our desire to offset some of the additional technology expenses related to remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

As student online hours increased, our need for devices and programs also increased. Thanks to fundraising efforts like this generous grant from Columbia Bank, we were able to continue operation through a very challenging year.

Columbia Bank’s team of Tom Kemly, President and CEO, Julie Holland, Columbia Bank Foundation Executive Director, and Kevin Van Schepen, Vice President and Commercial Lending Officer stopped by Eastern Christian Schools’ Midland Park elementary campus to deliver the check. The team was welcomed by some of EC’s very own elementary students who presented them with thank you cards and showed off our new playground!
