EC Community Sets Giving Tuesday Record to Fund School’s COVID-19 Safety Measures

A HUGE Thank You to the EC Community!

You’ve made the 2020 Giving Tuesday a record for our school in many ways!

Thanks to your incredibly generous support, we were able to raise over $150,000 in funds to help pay for some of the unbudgeted COVID-19 safety expenses that we’ve incurred while keeping on-campus learning options open!

By the Numbers

• We broke the previous EC Giving Tuesday record by over $135,000!
• We received over 175 gifts.
• The members of EC’s Board of Directors and Foundation Board made very significant personal contributions towards achieving our Giving Tuesday goals
• 100% of EC’s Administrative team and Education Council participated in Giving Tuesday

We had been optimistic that we might be able to hit our stretch goal of $50,000 by the end of the day. We hit that number by lunchtime!

By the end of the day, we had reached $89,550. When we opened the mail the following morning, we had received an astonishing additional $61,500 in support bringing the Giving Tuesday total to $151,050!

This is truly a remarkable level of support and one that exceeded our wildest expectations. The EC community stepped up in a major way to help fund this major need for our school community. It’s days like Giving Tuesday that remind us all about the partnership that drives everything we do in this Christian school community. 

One last chance

Just in case there are any EC community members who didn’t yet have the opportunity to give, we’re keeping the donation link open until the end of the school day on Wednesday, December 2, 2020.
