In a letter to a church leader named Gaius, the apostle John says in 3 John 1:4, “I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.”
I’m aware that the finances of many homes are shifting. College plans that were made in the fall of 2019 may not be feasible in the fall of 2020. But I want to remind you that there’s a local higher education opportunity that nurtures truth—a truth that transcends circumstance. And now, that opportunity has become even more affordable.
Last December, the state of NJ approved Geneva College Eastern Campus, a partnership between Geneva College and Eastern Christian School. The intention from the start was to offer local, affordable, Christian higher education.
The satellite campus will begin operation this fall after hours at ECHS, offering in-person, Christ-centered courses in small class settings. The associates degrees and courses have been designed to easily transfer to other colleges and can provide an important service to many families in the area, especially as we navigate our new reality together.
We would like to share that both institutions have just announced a Pioneer Grant for the 2020-2021 school year for Geneva College Eastern Campus students. This grant will offer an award of $1000 for the first year for all students who enroll in at least 12 credits each semester. That means that a full semester of classes can now be completed for as little as $4336. For more information, to see tuition and fees, and to apply, go to: https://www.geneva.edu/eastern/.
