Bio:

Julia is a writing coach and a professional writer published in outlets including The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and The New York Times. She has experience teaching students who range in age from seventh graders in a private school in Manhattan to college students in Brooklyn. She was also nominated for an Outstanding Instructor Award at Johns Hopkins CTY Program for Crafting the Essay. She is passionate about books and words and enjoys inspiring people of all ages to express themselves through language.

Bio:

Teresa started teaching over twenty-five years ago after receiving her BA in Elementary Education from Warner Southern University in Florida. She has had the pleasure of working in a wide array of public education classrooms from self-contained to gifted and support programs. She received her certification for Special Education in 2012. Teresa worships at First Reformed Church of Pompton Plains where her husband, Dave, is one of the pastors. Their son, Cade, graduated from Eastern Christian High School in 2025, and their older son, Grant, is a music educator.  Along with a passion for teaching and students, Teresa enjoys reading, artistic endeavors, family time, and volunteering.

Bio:

Joyce lives with her husband in Oakland, NJ. She loves to read all of the newest books, so she can recommend them to her 7th and 8th grade students. Aside from reading and other hobbies, she mostly enjoys making memories with her family.
