Rick and his wife Ellen have six children, five daughters and one son. Rick happily joined Eastern Christian as Chief Financial Officer after a long career in banking. He is a strong supporter of Private and Christian education having recently completed a three year term as Chair of the Board of Trustees of TriCounty Scholarship Fund and having previously served on the Netherlands Reformed Christian School Board for twelve years. Rick currently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees at Christian Health in Wyckoff. He and Ellen and five of their children reside in Lincoln Park and attend Ebenezer Netherland Reformed Church in Franklin Lakes.

Justin started at Eastern Christian school as a preschool student and has not left. After graduating high school, he joined the EC staff and attended William Paterson University. He received a degree in Communications and worked on various projects at EC while working for several professional video companies and photography studios. He provides photo, video, graphic, audio and marketing expertise for the school. Both Justin and his wife Sara have a heart for serving others and are members of Emergence Church. They recently had a daughter and she can’t wait to be an Eagle!

Maribeth and her husband Wayne are the proud parents of two EC graduates. Daughter Rachel Kuperus (’00) is married to Jon Kuperus (’01) and son Kevin (’03) is married to Rebecca (Santhouse-’03). They enjoy spending time with their five grandchildren: Stella, Penelope, Abigail, Jonah & Anna. Maribeth is in her 20th year of employment at EC after volunteering for many years. She is the third generation in her family to have attended EC and is so thankful for the quality Christian education her family has experienced as part of the EC family. In her free time she enjoys spending time in Green Pond on the beach, boating, reading and photography. Maribeth & Wayne served as HS youth leaders for many years. The Vriesema family attends Covenant Church in North Haledon.

Geraldine Gallagher

Geraldine is happily married to Dominic Gallagher. They have two girls who are both married, and have a grandson and granddaughter (and another grandson on the way). Geraldine enjoys helping families with any billing questions they may have. When not in the office Geraldine can usually be found back in her homeland (Northern Ireland) visiting with her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.

The Gallagher family attend Emergence Church (Glen Rock Campus).
