What’s better than a robot fight? A robot fight combined with a race track! Eastern Christian High School’s Robotics class recently hosted our third ever Robotics competition. In a unique twist, this event featured robot teams facing off in 1 versus 1 races around an obstacle-laden track.The double-elimination tournament ultimately yielded the championship to the team Alex Saunders and Xiaoyu Zhang. Saunders and took home the coveted Golden Sprocket award. Younger students and interested Robotics fans were given the opportunity to drive the robots at the end of the event.

Thanks to all who came out to support the Robotics program. As usual, it was a very fun event. We can’t wait until the next Robotics competition next January!
