Eastern Christian School welcomes Allan Campbell

Eastern Christian School welcomes Allan Campbell as a custodian. Allan holds a certificate in building and engineering from Dinthill Technical High School Jamaica, and both automotive technician and HVAC certificates from Thomas Learning. 

Please tell us about yourself.

I was born in the beautiful Caribbean Island of Jamaica where I spent my first thirty years before coming to the USA. My schooling started in kindergarten and took me through a technical high school. My first job was a millwright and my last fourteen years were spent serving as a police officer, with the last seven years being a detective. I truly enjoy helping people.

Tell the story of how you got to EC.

My brother-in-law works at EC and he reached out to me and ask if I was interested in a job at Eastern Christian. He explained what the job entailed and assured me that the faculty was more like a family and Christlike. With such words I was encouraged and I applied for the position. I prayed for spiritual guidance and here is where the Lord brought me. Over the years I have been employed in several different industries and types of work and have enjoyed adapting to the requirements of those jobs.

What sets EC apart?

I believe any company, organization or entity that is built on Christian principles will stand out as an example for others. There are many academic institutions around us but those proclaiming Christ as the foundation in this dark age, are shining a bright light.
