Welcome, Anna Cingale!

Eastern Christian School welcomes Anna Cingale as preschool teacher. 

Anna holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and psychology from Gordon College. She has been teaching in Christian education for the past five years.

Please tell us about yourself

I grew up in North Haledon, New Jersey and have lived there all of my life. I enjoy taking walks, spending time with friends and family, and traveling. I love listening to music and all things Disney and Christmas!

I have attended Hawthorne Gospel Church for all my life and serve as the nursery coordinator. 

How has God brought you to work at EC?

After graduating from Gordon College, I accepted a position teaching 3 year olds at a preschool in Wayne. I taught the 3 year olds for two years and was then moved up to Kindergarten where I have been for the last three years. During the summer, I was a camp counselor. At the end of this last school year, I was praying about where God wanted me next and he opened the door for a position teaching Preschool here at EC.

What sets EC apart? 

I believe that Christian education provides a Christ-centered foundation for students to help them grow in their knowledge and understanding of who God is and how to be a follower of Christ. While I have not had much interaction with the students yet, I have had wonderful interactions with the faculty and staff. I can see that their love for God is poured out into everything that they do in their classrooms which, in turn, will have a great impact on the lives of their students.
