Welcome, Elizabeth Rachuri!

Eastern Christian School welcomes Elizabeth Rachuri as second grade paraprofessional.

Elizabeth received a bachelor’s degree in childhood education and a Master of Education in literacy from Pace University. 

Please tell us about yourself

I was born and raised on the Jersey Shore, and I try to spend my summer days there now. I’m married to my husband, Eliazer, and have two beautiful girls. 

My favorite ways to spend my free time are sewing and walking. I love to travel and study new languages. I attend Montclair Community Church and serve in the women’s ministry and nursery. 

How has God brought you to work at EC?

I have spent my whole professional career teaching at Christian schools. I have taught many grades and subjects from K-12 during my time teaching at a school for the Deaf in Puerto Rico and another NJ Christian school. I love that I can teach students not only academics, but about the Creator of academics! I love that I can offer hope to students through love and prayer. God brought me to EC when we were searching for a school for our daughters. We fell in love with the school for them, and naturally, I wanted to be a part of it too

What sets EC apart? 

The testimonies of EC alumni speak volumes for the school. I know a number of EC grads who live out their faith. That is what I want for my daughters and my students. I want them to learn and grow spiritually and academically, and with a heart of service. What sets EC apart are its excellent academics and extracurriculars, which are rooted in faith and a Biblical worldview.
