Please tell us about yourself
I grew up in Westchester, NY with four brothers and two sisters. I share a love of sports and games with all of them. Being with my four, young adult children brings me so much joy. When not spending time with family and friends, I enjoy long walks in the park! Creative discovery and making projects is how I spend indoor time.
How has God brought you to work at EC?
After spending many years in different educational settings, it became apparent that the worldly views in education were not aligned with God’s plan. His teachings need to be at the forefront of a Christian education to help guide children on the right path as per His will. Having earned a master’s degree in reading in NY and then Educational Leadership in NJ, I was anticipating a role in school leadership, if it is part of the plan. Teaching in the classroom continues to allow me to educate with grace and compassion daily!
What sets EC apart?
The students at EC are reminded daily of biblical teachings. These become the focus of their lives and education. The kindness and compassion students and teachers at EC show toward each other is evident in all areas.
