Welcome, John King!

Eastern Christian School welcomes alumnus John King as School Security Officer at the preschool and elementary school campus. 

A member of Living Word Reformed Church, he served for 20 years with the New York City Police Department, having most recently served in the Highway Patrol Motorcycle Unit. John retired from the NYPD in June 2022. 

Please tell us about yourself

I grew up in Wyckoff, New Jersey. I enjoy riding motorcycles and reading about Reformed Theology. 

How has God brought you to work at EC?

Events in my life and the job opportunity came together to bring me back to EC through God’s providence. 

What sets EC apart?

I learned first hand as a student that EC is a place where children receive a Christ-centered education.
