Eastern Christian School is pleased to announce the hiring of Bryanne Makus as preschool paraprofessional and Midland Park after school director.
Makus earned a bachelor’s in Elementary Education from Cairn University and a master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from Cairn University. In addition to enjoying watching students grow and reach their full potential, she shares she enjoys spending time with her friends, family and church group at Grace Church in Ridgewood.
I grew up in Pompton Lakes, New Jersey. My interests include reading, playing piano, listening to music, and watching movies.
I went to Cairn University, where I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees. God brought me to EC after I struggled to find a job that fit with my outlook, beliefs and goals in other school systems. When I applied to EC, it immediately felt right. The entire process of coming to EC was positive and encouraging, and I knew it was where God wanted me to be.
Eastern Christian stood out to me because of their focus on God and excellence. They strive for excellence with both their students and faculty–this includes academics, working environment and community relationships. Their outlook and drive with these important aspects are part of what sets them apart from other schools.
