Welcome, Adelia Cruz!

Eastern Christian is pleased to welcome Adelia Cruz as preschool teacher.

Cruz earned a bachelor’s in Psychology with a concentration in early childhood from Kean University and a master’s in Elementary Education from Liberty University. She is married with one daughter, Emma, who is a student at EC. Adelia is passionate about serving in a Christian school community, where she can support her students in receiving a quality preschool education. 

Tell us about yourself

I was born in Portugal and grew up in New Jersey. We try to visit Portugal every summer. I serve on a worship team and in children’s ministry.

Tell us the story of how God brought you to EC

I was a preschool director for over a decade and also worked as a prekindergarten teacher in my town’s public school.
