What do you love about Eastern Christian School?
The community is unmatched and the christian values raised me to be the person I am today and shaped my worldview.

Describe one of your favorite teachers and tell why he/she is a favorite.
Ryan Dykstra. While he was my teacher he was always available to help and pushed me to do my best. Even though he isn’t my teacher anymore he still checks in on me and I maintain a close relationship with him. He is even willing to assist me with english work from other classes.

In what ways have you grown in your faith as a result of your experience at Eastern Christian School?
All my worldviews are based my faith and my christian values. I learned to put God first and to live like God would want me to. EC taught me spiritual discipline as well and how to maintain a close connection with God on my own.

At Eastern Christian we talk about an education that is “Engaging. Nurturing. Transforming.” How did you experience this kind of education at EC?
The Teachers. Every teacher at EC is welcoming and seeks to help their students develop their minds as well as their Faith.

How do you feel that EC prepared you for graduation, college/career and life?
EC did well to prepare me with its in depth coursework. And the availability and helpful members of the college and Career Team at the High school.

What opportunities did you experience at EC that you don’t think you would have gotten to experience anywhere else?
The service to others and the involvement in the community.

What would you say to a prospective student considering joining Eastern Christian School?
It is a significant investment but the friends and values that you will develop make it worth it.
