Great is Thy Faithfulness! EC to Celebrate on June 3 & 5

God’s provision to Eastern Christian School during a year of unprecedented challenge calls for an unprecedented celebration! To that end, we have two very important dates that we need you to know about:

June 3: Online Day of Giving

This online only day of giving is intended to give the extended EC community the opportunity to bring a thank offering to our school in honor of God’s faithfulness to EC over the course of a very challenging year. Our annual auction gala was cancelled due to COVID-19 regulations for large group gatherings. This event typically raises over $100,000 to support EC families. Without this event, we’re hoping to meet or exceed that same threshold to continue our support of EC families. 

Everything for this day will about God and His faithfulness to our school community. All of giving will be hosted on our brand new online giving portal.

June 5: Great is Thy Faithfulness Picnic

This is our great big all-school picnic. Families with children currently enrolled at EC are welcome to attend! This event is going to be a huge celebration of God’s faithfulness in the for form of a great big school picnic. This outdoor picnic celebration will feature inflatables, face painting, sports, and other student activities, good food coming from a very active grill, and a brief moment to recognize everyone at EC who helped to make this year possible. 

As an extra special feature of this event, we will be recognizing Head of School Tom Dykhouse and thanking him for his years of service to our school community in such a crucial leadership position. 

We already have over 500 people registered for the picnic- it’s safe to say that our community is ready to celebrate!
