Timothy Kim Places Third in Nokia Bell Labs Regional Science Fair

EC Junior Timothy Kim recently participated in the Nokia Bell Labs North Jersey Regional Science Fair and he won third place in the Chemistry category. His research topic was Enhancing Hydrogen Production from Water Electrolysis. 

 

Timothy represented EC and competed with the most elite high schools in north jersey and won third place. Timothy also opened the door for other EC STEM students to challenge themselves and do the same. 

 

But he’s not done there! Timothy also applied for the Genius International Olympiad which is one of the most influential international science fairs, and recently selected as a finalist.

 

Timothy credits his Honors Physics teacher Philip Verrengia who helped him throughout this process.
