Eastern Christian School Names Ruth Kuder Assistant Head of School

Eastern Christian School Association’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Ruth Kuder as Assistant Head of School of Eastern Christian School with effect from July 1, 2020. In this new capacity, Mrs. Kuder will continue to lead all educational activities of Eastern Christian School and expand her role to include all student focused activities including new student recruitment and retention.

Mrs. Kuder currently serves as Chief Education Officer of Eastern Christian School, a position that she has held since 2017. She previously served in numerous positions of increasing responsibility at Eastern Christian School, including High School Principal, International Student Program Director, Dean of Students, and as a member of the English and Spanish faculty.

Mrs. Kuder received her undergraduate degree in History and Literature from Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL, and her master’s degree in Educational Administration at the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Organizational Leadership at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Kuder is certified by the NJ Department of Education as a teacher, principal and school administrator. She serves as a member of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of Christian Schools International in Grand Rapids, MI.

Ruth, her husband Rich, and their family reside in Wayne, NJ and are active at Restore Christian Reformed Church in North Haledon, NJ.
