Tell us about yourself. 
I grew up on Long Island, but lived in Florida for the past five years. My husband and I moved back “up North” in January. We are happy to be close to family again and we are excited about getting plugged in at our new church. We enjoy game nights with friends, trying new food spots, and being active.

How did God bring you to work at EC?
I attended Molloy College in New York and received my B.S. in Childhood Education/Special Education/History. For my M.Ed, I have been working towards being a Reading Specialist through Liberty University. My first teaching job was in an inclusion setting in third grade. I learned so much from the teachers I worked with and they helped shape me into the teacher I am today. When we moved to Florida, I had the privilege of working in multiple settings such as gifted clusters, special education, and in the classroom. I had heard of Eastern Christian School from my sister-in-law who used to teach here, but never had the opportunity to work in a Christian school myself. This position was an answer to prayer and I am so excited to see what God does here at EC!

What sets EC apart?
 Being able to actually teach the whole student – academics, social, emotional, AND spiritual – is awesome! It is great to be allowed to share my faith and even more fun to hear the students share their faith. I’m so excited to see God continue working in the lives of students here.
