School Safety: EC Awarded $136,000 Security Grant

In our ongoing efforts to make Eastern Christian School the safest possible place for students and families, we have invested hundreds of thousands of dollars on safety and security upgrades over the past 5 years. Funding for these projects has come from a variety of sources, and we are always looking for additional funding sources to continue these improvements. 

It is in that spirit that we are thrilled to announce that EC had been awarded a new NJ Office of Homeland Security and Prevention grant in the amount of $136,000.00. These funds will be put to immediate use for additional security upgrades on our campuses.

We appreciate the direction of our Security Director Jeff Botbyl and Grant Writer Melanie Davies who helped to make this a reality. We will never stop looking for ways to keep the EC family as safe as possible.
