The Song of Eastern Christian School

We needed a class speaker for the 2017 graduation. On less than 24 hours notice, EC Senior Scott Steenstra pinch hit. In keeping with the metaphor, if this was a pinch hit at bat, Scott knocked it out of the park!

Adapting portions from his senior worldview project and blending it with some critical thinking and musical talent, Scott used the metaphor of a song to describe the educational journey of an Eastern Christian student. It was one of the most memorable student addresses in recent memory. Have a look (and a listen!):
