2017 Field Day Highlights

Recently, EC athletes in grades 3-8 competed in The Northern New Jersey Christian School Association Field Day Competition. The team was led by physical education teachers Deb Veenstra and Aaron Goldstein. Six other schools were represented at the event. Students competed in the 50 or 100 meter dash, soccer dribbling obstacle course, broad jump, softball throw, 4×100 meter relay and the shuttle run. The Eastern Christian lower division team (3rd-5th grade) captured 1st place in the team competition while the upper division team (6th-8th grade) took 2nd. The students had a great time competing and fellowshipping with fellow believers from other schools and are looking forward to next year’s event.
