EC Boys Varsity Basketball February 2-6

The varsity boys had another great week this week. Tuesday we played Elmwood Park and were ahead by 12 points after the first quarter. We came up just short at the end losing 59 to 53. Jon Veenstra led the way with 14 points while Henry Ruitenberg continues to play strong and pulled down 12 rebounds. Thursday the boys played Glen Rock and played a great game on both ends of the court. At the end of the day foul shots sealed the deal for a great win 50 to 44. Ricardo Smalls led the way with 20 points.  The boys are looking to capitalize on the great defense we have been playing this week when we play  Garfield on Monday, Rutherford on Tuesday and Hawthorne on Thursday. We are looking forward to a great week!
