After a heartbreaking 1 point loss to Elmwood Park and an overtime loss to Midland Park, the Lady Eagles were able to earn their first “W” with a 53-21 victory over Lodi on Thursday. Despite the abnormally small court and rambunctious Lodi fans, the Eagles powered through and scored 22 unanswered points to start the game. Madison Wynbeek commanded the paint with 26 points, while Anna Kinz shut down Lodi’s primary scoring threat with solid defense. The Eagles hope to snag another “W” against Valley MS, Oakland at home on Tuesday.
