The boys finished the year with a 4-15-1 record.  While a losing record and disappointing results may create a struggle, the boys on this team were able to keep themselves together as a team.  They did this by focusing on how God’s love unites them, and creating team goals to accomplish throughout the season’s stretch.  Exciting games of note included the back and forth tie with Glen Rock and the comeback win vs. Pompton Lakes when Jake Veenstra scored with 10 seconds left to tie the game before Adam Dykstra scored the winner in overtime.  The most complete game the boys played was the 3-1 win at Lodi.

Players receiving All League recognition included juniors Jason Englishmen (1st Team), Sam Veenstra (2nd Team) and Richard Bruffy (2nd Team), and senior Danny Figueroa (Honorable Mention). Jason and Sam also received Honorable Mention for Passaic County.
Thank you parents, friends, alumni, and all the faithful blue and gold supporters for helping make this another fun season of soccer for the team.
