We are called to “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy” (Psalm 33). Students in grades K-8 will advance their musical talents in individual or group lessons led by well-qualified instructors devoted to helping each student thrive. Piano lessons will lay the foundation for all further music study and develop skills for accompaniment or pianist performance. Violin students can get a head start on the violin program at EC. Guitar students can begin to learn the basics of melody and chords that are essential for solo performance or accompaniment. Voice lessons help students develop their range, pitch accuracy, tone, texture, confidence, and music theory skills. All music students end each school year by performing in an annual recital to celebrate their growth. Come and start a musical journey that can last a lifetime!
Instrumental or vocal instruction provides one-on-one attention to enhance each student’s musical development. Lessons are designed to identify individual strengths and skills to help bring your student’s musical abilities to the next level.
Small group lessons are a more financially accessible option for students to explore and develop their musical gifts with a group. Students learn from one another and enjoy community musical engagement as they mature their talent. Small group lessons are designed for beginners in grades K-8. The groups are organized by age to foster student excitement and progress as they investigate their voice or instrument. Families interested in small group lessons can indicate their availability on the online sign-up form; after there is a group of three students, the group lesson will be scheduled.
