What combines exercise, music, rhythmics, creativity, teamwork and the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience? EC JUMPSTREET, our jump rope club! If you saw Mrs. Veenstra’s group perform at last year’s community night you already know how much fun this can be! This year the team will go to new heights! Come jump at the chance to be part of the action this winter! Basic jump rope skills required for joining. Come learn double dutch and other creative ways to jump rope! Students will perform at the Community Night during the Halftime show at the Varsity basketball game on Friday, February 8th! This club runs at the elementary school campus; by registering for this club you are giving your approval for your child to ride the shuttle from the MS to the ES on club days. Min: 8, Max: 15 per group. Cost: $70.

Using a variety of materials and tools, join us to explore, tinker, and discover. The second week will focus on makers as programmers and engineers, supporting Robot Fight Night on Friday, January 18th! The following weeks will develop makers as artists, crafters, engineers, inventors, and more in areas of building, clothing design and science experimentation. Let’s get creative and let the tinkering begin! Min: 7, Max: 18. Cost: $85. ($70 + $15 supply fee).

Ever wanted to create something from scratch? Come build and create with science teacher, Mrs. Botbyl. This club is for the kid who enjoys exploring how things work and is willing to try out something new without knowing what the outcome will be. Join us for a time of exploring various STEAM concepts including engineering and art. Come think outside the box with us and see how your great mind can be put to use. Min: 7, Max: 15. Cost: $75 ($70 + $5 supply fee).

Our fun and inspiring club is all about chatting it up with God through painting, drawing, writing and coloring in our Bibles. Come join the fun with middle school teachers Mrs. Fontana and Mrs. Tania. We will be using stamps, washi tape, colorful pens and stickers and enjoying visits from guest artists to help us along the way! This is your space to explore God’s word, learn scripture and grow your faith! We will work on a special Bible to be donated as a gift to someone in need. Come explore God’s word and illustrate its meaning. Students will need to provide their own Bible that can be drawn in. Min: 7, Max: 18. Cost: $75 ($70 + $5 supply fee).

Come join our liturgical dance group! Students will explore rhythm and how to move to music. The club, taught by Mrs. Blands-Pearson, will focus on expressing praises to our Heavenly Father. We will create a dance to share during chapel towards the end of the club. Come use your talents to glorify God through dance! Min: 7, Max: 24. Cost: $75 ($70 + $5 supply fee).

Want to become a pro in the kitchen? Join the club led by Mrs. Mackwan where you can eat what you create! Each class, students will focus on a different recipe. You will learn life skills while spending quality time together. You will love the whole process of adding ingredients together, creating something unique, and tasting the finish product. Cooking club is designed to spark a love of good food in kids! Everything is fun, learning-filled, easy to use, and absolutely delicious. Come join the fun and explore a variety of different foods. This club is nut free, but will include gluten and diary. Min: 7, Max: 12. Cost: $85 ($70 + $15 supply fee).
