Education: B.A. Psychology, Carnegie Mellon University

Before coming to Eastern Christian, Tonnie spent over 18 years in higher education at The King’s College in New York City. She started her career as an Admissions Counselor before moving on to new roles including Office Manager, Events Coordinator, Administrative Director of Admissions and Advancement, and finally as the Senior Director of Development Administration. Tonnie now joins EC as part of the Foundation for Eastern Christian School Association raising funds and planning special events such as the spring Auction Gala and HomEComing.

Kate Schneider

Foundation Office Coordinator

Education: Messiah University

Kate is excited to be able to support the mission of EC through her role as Foundation Office Coordinator. When she’s not at EC, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors and spending time with friends. Kate attends Emergence Church in Ringwood.

Janyce Bandstra

Database Assistant

EC Start Date: 1987

Janyce is married to Gerald and they have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Janyce was on the Eastern Christian Board during the late 80’s and desired to work in the school she loves. So in 1986 she became the Director of Admissions and retired from that position in 2008. Retirement was not for her so she came back to EC to work in the Foundation Office as a part-time database operator.
