My absolute favorite thing about EC is the community, ever since I started to attend here in the eighth grade the community of students teachers and parents is what I love about this school. Everyone is together and supportive of you. One of my favorite teachers at EC is Mr. Z. He is a fun but serious guy who loves star wars just as much as I do but definitely not more. Beyond the teachers and students another favorite thing of EC is how everyday this school helps improve my faith. In eighth grade I was unsure of where I was going in the years ahead but with the help of a strong EC community I have been able to grow closer to God and trust him to make a hope and a plan for my future. The education at EC is like our slogan says, Engaging, I feel involved in everything I do there, whether it’s helping make a film or answering a question for a teacher. Nurturing, the teachers always lead me into the right direction and show me the way that most glorifies God. And finally, Transforming, my school experience has shaped me into a better person who loves Jesus more now. Eastern Christian’s goal for my education is to prepare me for the college life and years after that. They teach good morals and have a great college and career office that is filled with help anytime from Mr. Struck. My plans for after High School are to go to college and study communication, film and computer science. Eastern Christian has really shaped my life and continues to shape my life everyday and I hope that this experience at EC will make me the man God wants me to be.
