Allison Dalessandro and her husband enrolled their two daughters, Faith and Grace, at Eastern Christian School. Faith is completing 3rd grade and Grace is finishing 1st grade.
What do you love about Eastern Christian School?
“The thing I love most about EC is the warm and caring atmosphere that is felt when you walk through the door. All the staff go out of their way to create a nurturing place where kids can grow academically, socially and spiritually.”
Why did you choose Eastern Christian School for your children?
“My husband and I wanted a school environment that developed the whole child. We feel EC meets our girls’ academic and spiritual needs. We wanted to have a strong Christian environment in which to learn and grow.”
In what ways have you seen your children grow in their faith as a result of their experience at Eastern Christian School?
“My girls have definitely grown in their faith due to their EC experience. They often share the school wide tagline for the year and try to live by it at home and elsewhere. They are caring and thoughtful girls who have a relationship with Jesus due to the great role models and instruction at EC.”
The Eastern Christian tagline is “Engaging. Nurturing. Transforming.” How does your child experience this at EC?
“My girls always tell the wonderful activities and learning opportunities that they are engaged in at school. I feel the caring staff nurtures each student and often goes out of their way to support them. I have watched my girls transform into young girls who care about others and care about their relationship with God.”
What would you tell another parent to encourage them to consider enrolling their child at Eastern Christian School?
“I would tell other parents that if they are looking for a place that will nurture and support every facet of their child, then EC is the place!
We had taken the girls out last year and put them in a public school. We noticed a difference in their behavior and felt that EC provided a better learning environment. We missed the spiritual growth and the wonderful, caring staff. On the day we came to register, everyone literally came up to the girls hugging them and welcoming them back to EC. It brought tears to my eyes because it felt like we were coming ‘home’ to the place where they belong!”
