Welcome, Christina Strange!

Eastern Christian is pleased to welcome Christina Strange as second grade paraprofessional.

Strange is New Jersey state certified in World Language and holds a bachelor’s in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from The College of New Jersey. She also holds a TESOL certificate.

Tell us about yourself

Born and raised in New Jersey, I love languages and learning about different countries and cultures. Before getting married, I spent four years in Italy and several months in Argentina working in short-term missions and teaching English. God developed a heart for justice within my husband and I, and we have been actively involved in human trafficking prevention and restoration ministries. 

Tell us the story of how God brought you to EC

I have been active as a parent volunteer the past several years and this past spring God presented the opportunity to join the EC staff as a paraprofessional. I look forward to getting to know the students and their families and to help them understand the value and purpose God has for their lives. 

What sets EC apart?

At Eastern Christian, students are given the opportunity to find a deeper meaning and purpose for their lives even beyond their academic strengths and abilities. As a parent, I appreciate the spiritual foundation being laid for our children. The weekly chapel meetings and daily class discussions are an encouragement to my children in their faith and walk with God.
