Mommy & Me Music

Eastern Christian is excited to offer Mommy & Me music classes! Did you know that research shows many benefits of music instruction for young children? Music learning supports many types of learning and development, including greater language development, increased IQ, fine and gross motor development, and enhanced brain development. But perhaps most importantly, our Mommy & Me music classes help teach children to appreciate music as a gift from God and a way to worship Him! Experienced preschool teacher, Mrs. Jenna Beverly, will lead students in learning basic musical concepts (volume, rhythm, tempo) by singing, moving, and playing instruments in a safe and structured environment. 

Don’t be fooled by the name of this class! This fun, enrichment opportunity is not limited to moms and their children. Dads, grandparents, and caregivers are also welcome to bring children ages 0-5 for 7 sessions of musical exploration! Enjoy a unique, musical bonding experience with the child (or children) you love. You’ll be sure to leave smiling!

Our September/October session filled up quickly, so we are happy to offer a second session for October/November! This session of Mommy & Me music will meet on Mondays from 10:15-11:00 am on 10/15, 10/22, 10/29, 11/5, 11/12, 11/19, and 11/26 at Eastern Christian Elementary School (25 Baldin Drive, Midland Park, NJ). The cost is $50 per child.
