Boys Varsity Basketball 1/26/15-1/31/15

The varsity boys had a great week this week. Unfortunately we missed the Garfield game due to snow. We defeated Hawthorne 40-23 to get into the Passaic County Tournament. Henry Ruitenberg led the way with 12 points. Evan Quintero played great defense leading to victory. We then faced a tough Pompton lakes team in the next game of County play on Saturday. ‎We were slightly out matched but the boys played their hearts out. Jon Veenstra lead the way with 9 points and Ricardo Smalls had 7 but we came up just short at the end of the game. These boys are growing as a team and I am blessed to coach them. We are looking forward to the second half of the season with high expectations. The boys play Elmwood Park at home on Tuesday and we hope to see a lot of the fans that have been supporting us so far this season.  Go Eagles!
