I love teaching at Eastern Christian. I am finishing my fourth year teaching 5th and 6th grade social studies and I can’t see myself teaching in any other school system. The staff at Eastern Christian is extremely supportive and I know I am being prayed for by them as well as the various other people I do not see each day like the school board members, and the parents of the students I teach. One feature of our school that I truly appreciate is the attention we give to the individual students in our advisory program. I love that we have special time dedicated to bonding and growing with each student. I also value the time dedicated to spiritual growth in each student with chapel and our small groups program. I am encouraged that we place our students' growth not only academically, but also spiritually and personally as a priority in our daily activities. I look forward to so many more wonderful experiences here and thank God for each one.
