Eagle Solar Takes Flight at ECHS

Eagle Solar LLC activated the solar electricity generating system at Eastern Christian High School on July 18, completing the activation of the school-wide solar electricity system which was begun in December, 2010. The solar installations at Eastern Christian's elementary school and middle school campuses were activated on May 26 and have been providing the majority of the electricity required to power those campuses for nearly two months.

Eagle Solar, which was established by Eastern Christian School in 2010, will help the school to remain affordable for the families that we serve. Eagle Solar will provide savings of nearly $350 per student next year by substantially reducing electricity expenses and earning investment income through the sale of Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SREC's).
