Back to School Night: Our Second Semester Back to Schedule For the Week School night will be held Wednesday evening, February 1st. Please encourage your parents to attend to meet your teachers and to discover all you will be learning this semester! They should plan to arrive at the high school by 6:45pm to pick up your schedules, then proceed to the Auditorium for an important Parent Meeting at 7:00pm. This meeting will be followed by brief classroom visitations. We look forward to seeing our ECHS Parents for this most important evening! Parents will also have the opportunity to stop by the Media Center to shop for Used Books (primarily reference material), and to get a glimpse of the changes underway in our revitalization process.

Mountain Creek: Our next trip to Mountain Creek is Monday, January 30. If you signed up to ride the ECHS bus, it will be leaving from the front entrance of the high school at 3:15 p.m. The bus will be returning to the high school at 10:00 p.m. Please store your equipment by the moveable bleachers in the gym.

“Singing Telegram” The Micah Challenge will be hosting the Baby Bank Fundraiser! Have the Micah Challenge sing a song to your “special someone” or teacher on Tuesday, February 14. When you sign up you will choose one song from a list of great songs. The price of each song is $5 to be sung during class and $7 to be sung during lunch in the cafeteria. A table will be set up outside the cafeteria beginning Monday, January 30 through Wednesday, February 8. The Baby Bank raises money to purchase supplies for pregnant mothers in need of financial support. Please help us to support mothers in need by purchasing a song!

Senior Trip to Washington: All Seniors going on the trip to Washington, DC will be signing up for rooms at the class meeting on Friday. Four students to a room. All students must sign up at the same time. Please talk with your friends before the meeting.

Class Meetings: On Friday, February 3, we will be having class meetings during SOAR. At the beginning of SOAR go directly to the auditorium for an assembly, after which, you will be dismissed to your class meeting.

Drivers’ Ed: Our new Drivers’ Ed Class begins Monday after school at 3:45pm - 5:45pm in Room 5. Students who signed up for this course have received their class schedules. If you haven't received a schedule, see Mrs. Pasqueretta in the Front Office. Please be ON TIME for class!

SPRING SPORTS SIGN-UPS: Sign ups for Spring sports will be next week.. A table will be set up outside the Front Office during lunch. Any questions, see Mr. King. Please do not forget.

Special Thanks to Mr. King's First Semester Classes for gathering wonderful items which were included in a Care Package which has been sent to Justin Westra, an ECHS Alumni who is currently serving in the US Army in Afghanistan. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will certainly be appreciated when it is delivered to Justin! If you are interested in sending Justin a note of encouragement, his address is noted on the bulletin board outside of the Front Office.
