Preschool Open House: Invite friends and family to our Preschool Open House and let them see why families from all over the NJ/NY Metro area are so passionate about Eastern Christian School. PTO News:

• PTO Meeting is scheduled for Wed., February 1 at 8:30am. Hope to see you there!

Select Catering News: It has been brought to our attention that some parents are not comfortable with the online ordering system. Therefore, we are going to add the option of the "take home" menu flyer in the Friday folder. Please fill out the menu being sent home today and enclose your check payable to Select Catering and mail it back to us. Also additional menu flyers will be left at each school.

Sports Boosters News:

• Beefsteak: The 3rd Annual Beefsteak Dinner is Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Brownstone, Paterson at 6:30pm. Both Silent and Live Auctions will take place. Live Auction includes Yankee Tickets - choose whatever game you like (not available vs. Mets or Red Sox); Mets Tickets; Rangers Tickets; Devils vs. Florida Panthers on Saturday, February 11 at 1pm; two tickets to 2012's Giants vs. Cowboys; Golf Outings and more! Silent Auction will include Lift tickets to Mountain Creek; Four tickets to NJ Outlaws (NJ's new minor league hockey team) at The Ice Vault in Wayne; Signed Jerseys; Photos and more! See you there!

Foundation Office News:

• Denim & Diamonds Auction Gala: Reserve the date - APRIL 19 - on your new 2012 calendar! You do not want to miss this exciting fundraiser for EC! The evening features a delicious hot/cold buffet dinner during which a Silent Auction takes place. Beautiful theme baskets, as well as many unique items and services are available to bid on. During dessert, the Live Auction occurs where our mild-mannered guests pull out all the stops to be the highest bidder. Live Auction items often include tickets to sporting events, long weekend get-aways, catered BBQ's and much more! We need items for our guests to go crazy over...please help us get ready for a bidding frenzy! Some suggestions are: Restaurant Gift Certificates; Use of Vacation Home; Sports Equipment/Tickets/Golf outings; Outdoor Items; Electronic Items. Is there a business you shop at often? Please ask if they would consider a donation to EC's auction. If you can help with a donation, please contact EC's Foundation Office at 973-427-9294. Tickets will go on sale the beginning of March.
• Baskets: Did you receive any large gift baskets over the holidays? The Auction Committee needs several large baskets - please drop off in any school office or at the TRIP Store with a tag or note "For Auction" by January 27 if possible. Large baskets only! Our first basket session is Friday, February 3. If you would like to help put baskets together, please contact Beverly in EC's Foundation Office at 973-427-9294.
