Come out Wednesday, June 2, to enjoy the Music Department's Spring Concert and the Art Department's Art Show.

Support your children, classmates, and friends as they glorify the Lord through music and art! Music students from band, orchestra, and the chorus will be performing music from a variety of time periods and music styles and art students will be showcasing paintings, sculpture, drawings, clay vessels, graphic design, and photography. Admission is free and begins at 7:00 p.m. at Eastern Christian High School.

ECMS Orchestra & Choir Concert

The MS Music department presented their annual spring concert on May 20 in the high school auditorium to a full house. After welcoming the crowd, Rob Flim led the band in some fun musical selections. As a special treat, the beginning band members joined the MS band, nearly doubling it's size, and played a selection that brought cheers from the audience. Megan Siegel then led the Junior Chamber Singers, which included various soloists. Special awards were presented to those students who were accepted in various state vocal competitions. Finally, Cathy Clark let the String Orchestra in a variety of music that kept the audience's attention right to the end. Dick VanYperen closed the concert with some very encouraging words of appreciation to the students and teachers. Many favorable ("best concert ever") comments were made afterwards by audience members. It was a great night and very rewarding for the students who worked so hard at making this concert 'the best concert ever'!
