As the years have gone by, that same 9-year-old won over 200 races. She is a senior at Eastern Christian, with an older sister you might have heard of and a slew of colleges beating down her door.

This fund raiser is a preview to the Kicks Against Breast Cancer fund raising game the team will be apart of. Veenstra said, "We look forward to our second annual 'pink' soccer game with our friendly rivals Pompton Lakes on the 20th."
Kelsey Spoelstra still watches the video of Eastern Christian High School's state title victory in 2007. The graduated-senior said she will remember it for the rest of her life. In that game Spoelstra scored a goal in the first minute of overtime resulting in a 2-1 victory over Bishop Eustace to win the 2007 Non-Public B championship.
"It's crazy thing because I still go to Facebook and watch the video, I get chills watching it every time," said Spoelstra, who added that she
gets to look at the winning ball every day when at school. read more...
