This is the calling and underlying purpose of the music education offered here at Eastern Christian School. Through a dedicated and qualified staff, our students are taught to ‘make music to the Lord’ beginning in kindergarten and continuing through high school, preparing them for a post high school music education. General music classes provide the students with a foundation for all musical experiences. Instrumental and vocal instruction is also offered. Students begin playing orchestral instruments in 2nd grade and band instruments in 4th grade. Choral instruction is offered at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. Eastern Christian’s musical ensembles give each student the opportunity to experience music for serious study or for his/her own personal pleasure, either as a performer or as a listener.
